FOV Orang Asli Project

The Friends of Vihara team provides essential groceries to 50 Orang Asli families living in the Kg Sg Choh settlement in Tg Rambutan, Ulu Kinta, Perak. 

This initiative, known as the Grocery Bag Project, seeks to alleviate the struggles faced by these indigenous families by offering them much-needed supplies and support.

Each grocery bag, valued at RM 350, is carefully assembled to include a variety of essential items that can sustain a family for an extended period. 

The contents are chosen to provide nutritional balance and cover basic needs, ensuring that the families receive comprehensive support.

How you can help

The success of the Grocery Bag Project depends heavily on the generosity and support of sponsors and contributors. 

Friends of Vihara invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to join hands in this humanitarian effort. Contributions, whether in cash or in kind, will directly benefit the Orang Asli families, providing them with crucial resources and a sense of hope.

Donors can provide any of the listed grocery items. Please deliver them to BMV's office (9am - 5pm). Items must be labelled as "FOV Orang Asli Project"
