Ñātibaliṃ, atithibaliṃ, pubbapetabaliṃ, rājabaliṃ, devatābaliṃ.

Offering to relatives, offering to guests, offering to the departed, offering to the king, and offering to the deities.

An insightful Sutta class led by Bhante Dr. Gangodawila Chandima Thera, where he will delve into the Pattakamma Sutta from the Anguttara Nikaya.

The Pattakamma Sutta, found in the Anguttara Nikaya (AN 4.61), offers practical guidance on the wise management and ethical use of one’s wealth. The Buddha outlines four worthy deeds to ensure both material and spiritual well-being: providing for oneself and one’s family, extending generosity to others, supporting righteous causes, and safeguarding one’s resources against potential loss.

All classes will be held IN-PERSON at Puja Hall, Level 1 WDC, Buddhist Maha Vihara.
Whether you are new to Buddhist teachings or looking to deepen your understanding, this class promises to be both enlightening and practical.
