Meditation is the key to opening the doors of inner awakening which leads to liberation.

Buddhism expounds on two classes of meditation; samathabhavana (for the development of concentration) and vipassanabhavana (for the development of wisdom).

Profile of Instructor:

Born nearly eight decades ago in 1941, Brother Chee Bok Chui worked as a government officer for 30 years and took up meditation in the 70s. He has been conducting meditation classes since the late 80s at various places in Malacca, Taiping, and Kuantan. Since the 90s, he has been conducting his meditation classes at Sri Jayanti Sentul Temple, Wat Chetawan Thai Temple in Petaling Jaya, and the Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields where the energetic nearly 80-year old continues to conduct classes today.
